team in medias ist eine der ältesten Internetagenturen Deutschlands und beschäftigt sich im Kern mit der Erstellung von Lösungen auf Basis von Open-Source-Systemen. Primär werden Typo3, OpenCMS, xt-Commerce und nun auch Magento eingesetzt. Durch die Ergänzung von Magento in das Portfolio schließt team in medias eine Lücke im Bereich der High-End-E-Commerce Systeme. Zwar ist Magento in der aktuellen Release 1.1 noch lange nicht als fertig zu bezeichnen. Dennoch lassen die bisherigen Entwicklungen, das Magento-Konzept, die Modularität von Magento, der Magento Funktionsumfang und die durchdachte Architektur hoffen, dass die noch vorhandenen Lücken und Fehler schnell beseitigt werden.
