Taylor Wessing hat die Melitta Gruppe bei der Übernahme des 35%igen Anteils des Joint Venture Partners S.C. Johnson an der Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte GmbH & Co. KG beraten. Die zuständigen Kartellbehörden haben den Zusammenschluss bereits genehmigt. Damit ist Melitta ab sofort Alleingesellschafter von Cofresco.

Die Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte entstand 1996 aus einem Zusammenschluss des Foliengeschäftes von Melitta und DowBrands, seit 1999 S.C. Johnson. Sie ist Europas führender Markenhersteller im Produktbereich Haushaltsfolien und -papier. Cofresco produziert und vertreibt u.a. Produkte der Marken Toppits®, handy bag®, Albal®, Glad® und Primapack® in Europa. Dies sind in erster Linie Lebensmittelfolien (Gefrierbeutel, Frischhaltefolien, Alufolien, etc.), Lebensmittel-Papiere (Qjasctqhmc, Vofnnisgtsysmfkv) uks Qspxqayktf.
