Swisslog schlägt an der ordentlichen Generalversammlung vom 21. April 2009 den international erfahrenen Topmanager Johann Löttner zur Wahl in den Verwaltungsrat vor. Jacques Réjeange, seit 2004 Verwaltungsrat der Swisslog Holding AG, wird nach Beendigung seiner bis 2009 laufenden Amtszeit altershalber ausscheiden.

Johann Löttner ist eine international anerkannte Führungspersönlichkeit sowie ein profunder Kenner der Intralogistikbranche. So leitete er zwischen Januar 2006 und Oktober 2007 die Dematic-Gruppe. Zuvor übernahm er Vorstandsfunktionen in verschiedenen Unternehmen, unter anderem bei der Siemens-Gruppe und dem Mannesmann-Konzern.
