Rechtzeitig zu Olympia lanciert Swisscom Mobile verschiedene mobile Datendienste. Die Zusammenarbeit mit der SRG SSR idée suisse sowie Sport 164 ermöglicht aktuelle Informationen zu Olympia auf Vodafone live! und dem mobilen Portal von Swisscom Mobile. Neu besteht die Möglichkeit, einen Videoclip zu einem Sportereignis wenige Minuten danach herunterzuladen. Die Eröffnungsfeier zu Olympia 2004 findet am 13. August 2004 in Athen statt. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt sind bei Swisscom Mobile eine Vielzahl attraktiver mobiler Datendienste verfügbar. In Zusammenarbeit mit der SRG SSR idée suisse bietet Swisscom Mobile versuchsweise einen neuartigen Dienst an: Video und Audio-Kurzclips können bereits wenige Minuten nach dem Ereignis
