Die Rohstahlproduktion in Deutschland lag im Juni bei 3,9 Millionen Tonnen und damit in etwa auf Vorjahreshöhe. Der Rückgang gegenüber dem Vormonat (4,1 Millionen Tonnen) war vor allem Arbeitstageeffekten geschuldet.
