Mit einer Entwicklungsumgebung unter coLinux bietet SSV Embedded Systems die Möglichkeit, Linux Terminals unter Windows zu programmieren.

CoLinux ist ein vorkonfiguriertes Linux für Windows. Die coLinux Entwicklungsversion von SSV enthält alle notwendigen Entwicklungstools wie z.B. C-Compiler gcc, grafischen X-Server Xming sowie die Bibliotheken und Treiber für die SSV Terminalserien. Die Software wird einfach unter Windows installiert – der Anwender kann Linux-Programme für die SSV Terminals auf seinem Windows-PC entwickeln. Diese Lösung ist besonders dann interessant, wenn aufgrund interner Firmenrichtlinien oder anderen Gründen ein separater Linux Entwicklungs-PC unerwünscht ist. Diese Variante bietet aber auch den Vorteil, dass beim Anwender keine
