SPL liefert die ersten RackPack-Modulsysteme aus

Nach der Vorstellung des Prototypen auf der diesjährigen Musikmesse finden nun die ersten Modulsysteme von SPL ihren Weg in den Handel. Der RackPack-Rahmen im 19-Zoll-Format bietet auf drei Höheneinheiten acht Modulen Platz, die von einem externen Netzteil versorgt werden. SPL verzichtet im RackPack auf interne Signalbusse: Jedes Modul verfügt wie Stand-Alone-Geräte über jeweils eigene Ein- und Ausgänge, so dass zur Verknüpfung der Module untereinander oder zur Einbindung in bestehende Umgebungen völlige Verkabelungsfreiheit herrscht. Ob achtkanaliger Preamp, Kanalzug oder Effekt-Rack, die Konfiguration und Integration des RackPacks ist laut Hersteller allein eine Frage des Bedarfs.
