Mit dem PROFIBUS zu HART Gateway GW-7557 stellt Spectra ein Modul vor, mit dem es möglich ist, von einem PROFIBUS-Master-System auf ein Slave-Gerät mit HART-Interface zuzugreifen. Typische HART-Geräte sind beispielsweise Sensoren, Stell- oder Schaltventile, Messumformer und Analysegeräte. Mit dem GW-7557 ist es sehr einfach und preisgünstig möglich, HART-Devices in eine PROFIBUS Installation zu integrieren. Das Gateway unterstützt max. 4 HART-Kanäle und den Point-to-Point oder Multi-Drop Betrieb. Bis zu 15 HART-Geräte können an das GW-7557 angeschlossen werden. Die Konfiguration des Moduls erfolgt benutzerfreundlich über ein mitgeliefertes Windows Programm. Das PROFIBUS-Interface des GW-7557 unterstützt Übertragungsraten zwischen 9,6 kB und 12 MB, wobei
