SOLON signs contract with new solar cell supplier

Berlin-based SOLON AG für Solartechnik has signed a contract with the German subsidiary of ARISE Technologies Corporation based in Waterloo, Ontario / Canada. The agreement relates to the purchase of solar cells with an output of 212 megawatts over a period of five years.

Delivery of the solar cells from the recently built ARISE factory in Bischofswerda is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2008. This step enables SOLON AG to further diversify its supplier base.
