solarhybrid AG connects three German solar projects totaling 88.6 MWp to the grid in record time
- record construction time of 10 weeks for 39.5 MWp project Fürstenwalde
- record construction time of 11 weeks for 30.2 MWp project Cottbus-Drewitz
- turnover from the three projects exceeds EUR 170 million
solarhybrid AG the specialist provider of large scale photovoltaic power plants has proven its utility scale solar capabilities once more.
Construction works on the solar plants of Fürstenwalde (39.5 MWp), Cottbus Drewitz (30.2 MWp), and Werneuchen (18.9 MWp) on former military airfields have been completed up to the high voltage substations. The full AC-capacity is available at the substations and works on the solar plants itself have been finished. Specialized contractors and the utilities E.on Edis and Envia M will connect the power plants to the substations shortly.
With record construction times of 10 and 11 weeks for the projects Fürstenwalde and Cottbus-Drewitz respectively solarhybrid has proven its competence in the execution of such projects in very short time. The solar power project Dedelow where solarhybrid has built four MWp in seven days, can well be scaled to large-scale projects.
The combined turnover from the projects will total EUR 170 million in fiscal year 2011. This success directly contributes to the profitability of solarhybrid and again the board confirms its 2011 forecast of more than EUR 400 million in turnover and profits exceeding EUR 15 million.
