Das Nürnberger Softwarehaus SoftMaker hat heute den neuen TextMaker Viewer 2009 als Betaversion veröffentlicht.

Mit dem kostenfreien Programm können alle Dokumente in allen gängigen Textverarbeitungsformaten geöffnet, gelesen und gedruckt werden.

Mit der neuen Version 2009 lassen sich nun zum ersten Mal Dokumente im DOCX-Format öffnen, dem neuen von Microsoft Word 2007 eingeführten Dateiformat.

Weitere unterstützte Formate sind Microsoft Word, OpenDocument, RTF, HTML und natürlich das SoftMaker-eigene .tmd-Format.
