Auf der Messe embedded world 2014 stellt Softing die Version 5.30 seines OPC UA C++ Toolkits vor. Die neue Modellierfunktionalität des Toolkits vereinfacht die OPC UA AddressSpace-Konfiguration erheblich und ermöglicht damit eine schnellere Inbetriebnahme von OPC UA-Servern. Außerdem erweitert Softing die Bandbreite der unterstützten Plattformen um ARM-basierte System-on-Chip (SoC)-Lösungen, die auf BeagleBone bzw. Raspberry Pi aufsetzen. Die optimierte Leistungsfähigkeit und die erweiterte, konsequent auf Benutzerfreundlichkeit ausgelegte Funktionalität, wie z.B. asynchrone Service-Aufrufe, bieten dem Entwickler wesentliche Vorteile. Darüber hinaus unterstützt die Version 5.30 jetzt auch native Windows x64-Betriebssysteme.
