Softings Modbus-Gateway und Linking Device FG-110 FF für die Integration von FOUNDATION fieldbus-Segmenten in bestehende Anlagen und in Modbus-Steuerungssysteme verfügt jetzt über die neuen Funktionalitäten "Konfigurations-Upload" und "Firmware-Download". Damit können Systemintegratoren, Inbetriebneh-mer und Anlagenbetreiber noch einfacher und ohne kostspieliges Leitsystem FOUNDATION fieldbus H1-Geräte konfigurieren sowie deren Firmware von einer zentra-len Station aus aktualisieren.

Mit dem neuen Konfigurations-Upload wird die aktuelle Netztopologie mit den im be-treffenden Netzwerk oder Segment verwendeten Feldgeräten hochgeladen und als Ausgangspunkt eines Konfigurations-Projekts verwendet. Dies vereinfacht insbeson-dere die Netzkonfiguration bei Anlagenerweiterungen mit vorkonfigurierten Geräten
