Die neue Version des INAT S7 OPC-Servers verfügt über das sogenannte High Performance Protokoll, mit dem der Server besonders schnell arbeitet. Das Protokoll fasst die einzelnen Leseaufträge intelligent zu einem einzigen Leseauftrag zusammen, unabhängig davon, ob sich die angeforderten Items im selben oder in unterschiedlichen Bereichen befinden. Intern werden die Variablen zu einem einzelnen Feldzugriff auf das Zielgerät umgewandelt. Dadurch wird die Zahl der über das Netz transportierten Datenpakete reduziert, der Anteil der Nutzdaten ist höher, die Datenpakete sind besser ausgelastet und die Netzlast wird reduziert. Der Server arbeitet dadurch in diesem Modus besonders schnell.
