Qinghai Ping An Aluminium High Precision Machining Industrial Co., Ltd., China, hat der SIEMAG in Netphen, einem Unternehmen der SMS group, den Auftrag zur Lieferung eines neuen Coiltransportund Lagersystems erteilt. Die Inbetriebnahme der Anlage ist für Mitte 2009 geplant.

Ping An baut zurzeit am Standort Xining (Provinz Qinghai) in Westchina eine neue Aluminium-Flachproduktion mit einer Kapazität von 240.000 Jahrestonnen auf. Von der neuen, von SMS Demag AG, einem Unternehmen der SMS group, gelieferten Warmbandstraße werden die Coils zur Abkühlung zunächst in ein manuell bedientes Flachlager mit 300 Lagerplätzen befördert, bevor sie dann über ein Palettentransportsystem zu einem der beiden Kaltwalzwerke
