Štore Steel aus Štore, Slowenien, hat eine neue Zweistrang-Knüppelgießanlage bei SMS Concast bestellt. Das Unternehmen kann damit zukünftig hochlegierte Stahl- und Federstahlgüten von hoher Qualität gießen. Mit dieser Investition wird Štore Steel die Qualität seiner Produkte verbessern.

Die neue Stranggießanlage soll SBQ-Knüppel (Special Bar Quality) mit einer Abmessung von 180 Millimeter x 180 Millimetern produzieren. Mit der neuen Anlage von SMS Concast erhöht Štore Steel seine Produktionskapazität von 150 000 Tonnen pro Jahr auf 300.000 Tonnen pro Jahr.

Štore Steel ist einer der führenden Hersteller von flachem Federstahl in Europa. Das Unternehmen produziert insbesondere Stahl für die Automobilindustrie.
