Clustering von bis zu 32 Switches ermöglichen die beiden neuen flexiblen Hochleistungs-Switches, die SMC neu ankündigt. Die Managed TigerSwitches verfügen mit 10/100 24- und 48-Ports 10/100 +4 Gigabit Ports (SMC6128PL2 und SMC6152L2) über zahlreiche Steckplätze sowie innovative Switching Funktionalitäten und ermöglichen im Ergebnis eine äußerst flexible Netzwerk-Konfiguration. Sowohl der 48-Port SMS6152L2 als auch der 24-Port SMC6128PL2 erlauben die anpassungsfähige Gruppierung von Switches und sorgen damit für noch mehr Effizienz und eine leichtere Erweiterbarkeit des Netzwerks.

Die neuen Edge Switches stellen eine erweiterbare Verwaltungsarchitektur für SMB Netzwerke bereit, die auf Wachstum beziehungsweise auf Erweiterung ausgerichtet sind.
