Das neue Echtzeit-Ortungssystem Moby R von Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) ortet Objekte sogar in Hallen und überdachten Bereichen. Das Real Time Location System (RTLS) basiert auf Sendern und Antennen und ist im Vergleich zu satellitengestützten Systemen genauer und kostengünstiger. Moby R lokalisiert mit Sendern ausgestattete Objekte aller Art und ist in der automatisierten, industriellen Produktion sowie in der Logistik und Distribution universell einsetzbar - etwa in Flughäfen, in der Automobilproduktion oder bei der Zufahrtskontrolle zu Firmengeländen und Parkhäusern.
