Im Rahmen der aktuellen Version des Totally Integrated Automation Portals (TIA Portal) ermöglicht Siemens ab sofort die effiziente Inbetriebnahme und Projektierung von Antrieben der Sinamics-G120-Familie über Sinamics Startdrive. Ein hohes Maß an Benutzerfreundlichkeit und intelligenten Funktionen tragen dazu bei, den Engineering-Aufwand vollständiger Applikationen erheblich zu reduzieren. Durch die klar strukturierte und intuitiv bedienbare Benutzeroberfläche gelingt die einfache Parametrierung der Umrichter. Letztere lassen sich aufgrund der einheitlichen Datenhaltung im TIA Portal einfach projektieren und erhöhen im optimalen Zusammenspiel mit Simatic-Steuerungen die Engineering-Effizienz.
