Siemens hat den Auftrag über die Lieferung von 80 Windenergieanlagen für den Windpark Dan Tysk in der deutschen Nordsee erhalten. Mit einer Gesamtleistung von 288 Megawatt wird der Park 500.000 deutsche Haushalte ab 2014 mit sauberem Strom versorgen. Auftraggeber ist die Dan Tysk Offshore Wind GmbH, an der Vattenfall Europe mit 51 Prozent und die Stadtwerke München mit 49 Prozent beteiligt sind. "Siemens ist weltweit die Nummer 1 im Offshore-Windgeschäft und übernimmt mit diesem Auftrag auch in Deutschland den vordersten Platz", sagte Wolfgang Dehen, Vorstand der Siemens AG und CEO des Sektors Energy.
