Serview-Studie: Drei von fünf IT-Verantwortlichen genießen nach der ITIL-Einführung eine höhere Wertschätzung / Lob kommt vor allem von Führungskräften in den Fachabteilungen

Die Einführung des Regelwerks ITIL macht nicht nur die IT-Prozesse leistungsfähiger, sondern stärkt als positive Nebenwirkung die Position des IT-Managements. Nach einer Erhebung des ITSM-Beratungshauses Serview [1] kommt vor allem von den Fachabteilungen viel Lob. Ursache des Akzeptanzgewinns sind vor allem spürbare Verbesserungen in der Servicequalität und Kostenersparnisse, aber auch das souveräner agierenede IT-Management durch die besser steuerbaren Prozesse.

Eine "deutlich" verbesserte Position spüren 39 Prozent der über 200 befragten IT-Manager seit der Umsetzung von ITIL-Strategien. Weitere 22 Prozent geben in der Serview-Erhebung zu Protokoll, dass ihre Position "etwas" gestärkt wurde. Damit verzeichnen insgesamt drei von fünf IT-Verantwortlichen durch
