SEGGER Microcontroller gibt den Erwerb von IP-Assets der britschen Somnium Technologies bekannt. Somnium hat Entwicklungsumgebungen angeboten mit einem Fokus auf die Optimierung des Linkers. Die von SEGGER erworbenen IP-Assets beinhalten das Patentportfolio von Somnium. Die Absicht von SEGGER ist es, Somnium-Kunden die Möglichkeit zu geben, letzte Bestellungen für Lizenzen an Somniums DRT-Produkten auszuführen sowie Buyouts der Technologie auch an Mitbewerber anzubieten.
