Teleseo setzt bei Smart Meter PKI Sicherung auf die Hardware Sicherheitsmodule von Securosys

Mit dem Gesetz zur Digitalisierung der Energiewende (GDEW) treibt Deutschland die Einführung von Smart Metern als lokale Daten- und Steuerknoten einer smarten Energiewelt voran. Jeder digitale Zugang muss jedoch entsprechend gesichert werden. Dafür werden etablierte Sicherheitsverfahren genutzt, die bereits im Online Banking erfolgreich eingesetzt werden. Um die entsprechenden Sicherheitszertifikate aus der branchenspezifischen Public-Key-Infrastruktur (genannt Smart Meter PKI) sicher zu speichern und zu verwalten, setzt Teleseo ein Hardware Sicherheitsmodul (HSM) von Securosys ein.

Die neuen Smart Meter gemäß GDEW bestehen aus einem Smart Meter Gateway (SMGW) und den eigentlichen Zählern für Strom und die weiteren Medien. Die Architektur des Gesamtsystems wurde
