Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX) gibt bekannt, dass angesichts des jüngsten Preisverfalls von Seagate-Stammaktien und der Bedenken, die möglicherweise hinsichtlich der Auswirkungen derzeitiger Verkäufe von New SAC in der Investment-Community bestehen, der Hauptaktionär New SAC während der Lock-Up-Periode keine der 16 Millionen Seagate-Stammaktien verkaufen wird. Aufgrund einer bereits am 21. Oktober 2003 bekannt gegebenen Modifizierung der 180-Tage-Lock-up-Frist – die am 24. Januar 2004 endet – wäre der Verkauf möglich gewesen.

Darüber hinaus haben Chief Executive Officer Steve Luczo, President Bill Watkins und Chief Financial Officer Charles Pope von Seagate jeweils versichert, keine Anteile der Seagate-Stammaktien während dieser Lock-Up-Periode zu verkaufen.
