Exar's Multiprotokoll-Transceiver XR34350 vereinfacht die Einbindung älterer Peripheriegeräte in industrielle Anwendungen

Eine große Anzahl von Peripheriegeräten mit RS-232- oder RS-485/RS-422-Interfaces unterstützt der von SE Spezial-Electronic auf der electronica 2016 in Halle 5, Stand 278 präsentierte serielle Multiprotokoll-Transceiver XR34350 von Exar. Der Baustein verfügt unter anderem über einen ±10 V RS-232-Treiberausgang. Dank eines integrierten Kabelabschlusses und vier unterschiedlicher Konfigurationsmodi können zudem alle drei Protokolle ohne zusätzliche Beschaltung abwechselnd über ein einziges Kabel bzw. einen einzigen Anschluss genutzt werden.

Drei Treiber und fünf Empfänger garantieren, dass im RS-232-Modus alle acht für die DE9-Schnittstelle benötigten Signale (3 TX/5 RX) zur Verfügung stehen, während die RS-485-/RS-422-Modi sowohl einen Halb- als auch Vollduplex- (1 TX/1 RX) Wnedekh aqzkwmtbydn.
