Piezo switches from SCHURTER have proved themselves optimal in meeting the demands for extremely long lifetime and for an operating surface that is sealtight in order to prevent the access of dust and fluids. For the switches with an N.O. switching function, the operating temperature range has been extended to -40°C up to +85°C. This means that the piezo switches can now also be used in outside applications where extreme temperatures and temperature fluctuations may occur. The switches contain no moving parts, have a robust metal housing made of anodized aluminum or stainless steel and are hermetically sealed. The lifetime
