Die pneumatisch-elektrische Drehdurchführung DDF-I des Kompetenzführers für Spanntechnik und Greifsysteme SCHUNK ist die weltweit erste Drehdurchführung mit integrierter Bus-Technologie. Mit ihr können mechatronische Greifmodule, Ventile oder Sensoren, die sich hinter einer Drehachse befinden, besonders prozessstabil angesteuert werden. Bis zu 26 elektrische Signale lassen sich gleichzeitig übertragen, davon 13 zur Ansteuerung von Ventilen. Luft und Vakuum gelangen durch eine Fluiddurchführung zu den Aktoren. Besonders effiziente Lösungen sind möglich, wenn das Modul mit dem Schnellwechselkopf SWK-I von SCHUNK kombiniert wird. Aufgrund der darin integrierten Mikroventile kann auf eine Ventilinsel komplett verzichtet werden. Bei jedem Zyklus muss nur noch der Kolbenraum der Aktoren
