Der Kompetenzführer für Spanntechnik und Greifsysteme SCHUNK baut sein Programm für die hocheffiziente Direktspannung weiter aus: Für die Nullpunktspannmodule VERO-S NSE plus 138 hat das innovative Familienunternehmen die Spannmembran SPM plus 138 aus Aluminium entwickelt, in der sich Werkstücke unterschiedlicher Spanngeometrien mithilfe eines Niederzugeffekts allseitig spannen lassen. Hierzu wird zunächst ein 0,5 mm hoher Abstimmring zwischen Nullpunktspannmodul und Spannmembran eingelegt und die exakte Werkstückgeometrie aus dem Spannflächenrohling der Membran ausgefräst. Einmal vorbereitet lassen sich Werkstücke in Sekundenschnelle einsetzen und am kompletten Umfang spannen, indem das VERO-S Modul verriegelt und die Spannmembran gezielt verformt wird.
