Die SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH International GmbH baut ihr Vertriebs- und Servicenetzwerk in China aus: Im Januar 2016 hat SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH ein neues Warenlager für Spezialstahl mit Fokus auf Werkzeugstahl in Chongqing in Betrieb genommen. Es umfasst eine Fläche von 2.000 m2 und ist mit modernen Sägetechnologien und Hightech-Fräsmaschinen ausgestattet. Kunden profitieren von kürzeren Lieferzeiten und von anforderungsgerechten Zerspanungsservices für die Werkzeugstähle aus konzerneigener Produktion. Das Produktportfolio umfasst Kalt- und Schnellarbeitsstähle, Kunststoffformenstähle und Warmarbeitsstähle der SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH-Unternehmen Deutsche Edelstahlwerke (D) und Finkl Steel (CA, US).
