Supervisory Board extends the Members of the Board's contracts until 2016

Ulrich Schümer has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Board for a further 5 years

The Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG extended the Board Member contracts for Andreas Schmitz (41), Ulrich Schöpker (57) and Ulrich Schümer (56) until the 15th December 2016 during the regular meeting that was held today. "Ulrich Schümer has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Board for an extended period", announced the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Peter Schmitz, immediately after the meeting.

The current 3-year contact awarded to Andreas Schmitz (Board member responsible for Central and Eastern European sales) was due to end on the 15th December 2011 but the Supervisory Board has now extended this Board Member's
