Schleswig-Holstein Netz (SH Netz) verkabelt seit dem 22. Juli 2019 die letzte Mittelspannungsfreileitung in der Gemeinde Malente. Dazu wird die bestehende Freileitung zum Kies-, Schotter- und Betonwerk auf einer Länge von rund 900 Metern gegen ein Erdkabel ausgetauscht.
