Der Life-Science-Konzern Sartorius hat heute eine Vereinbarung zum Erwerb der MatTek Corp. einschließlich der Visikol Inc. von der BICO Group AB unterzeichnet. MatTek ist ein führender Entwickler und Hersteller von 3D-Mikrogewebemodellen. Das im Jahr 1985 gegründete Unternehmen beschäftigt mehr als 80 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter am Hauptsitz in Ashland, Massachusetts, in den Vereinigten Staaten und an seinem Produktionsstandort in Bratislava, Slowakei.
