Um der wachsenden Nachfrage im Automotive-Bereich nach kompakten MLCCs (Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors; Mehrschicht-Keramikkondensatoren) mit erhöhter Kapazität gerecht zu werden, stellt Samsung Electro-Mechanics eine neue Lösung vor: Der MLCC CL32Y106KCJ6PJ# bietet mit 10 µF für ein Bauteil dieser Größe (1210 oder 3,2 mm x 2,5 mm) und Spannungsfestigkeit (100 V) die branchenweit größte Kapazität.

Die Anzahl der in modernen Fahrzeugen verbauten MLCCs steigt mit der zunehmenden Funktionalität von Elektrofahrzeugen (EVs), fortschrittlichen Fahrerassistenzsystemen (ADAS), Systemen für autonomes Fahren (AD) und LED-Scheinwerfern/-Leuchten rapide an. Daher sind Miniaturisierung, Stabilität und eine höhere Kapazität von MLCCs zu den wichtigsten Anforderungen in diesem Bereich geworden.
