Der Kupplungshersteller R+W erweitert seine Modellreihe der Schwerlast-Sicherheitskupplungen mit formschlüssiger Passfedernut-Anbindung (ST1) um die Serien 2 und 5. Die TÜV-geprüften Sicherheitskupplungen sind hierdurch nun bereits ab 200 Nm und mit Bohrungsdurchmessern ab 30 mm erhältlich.

Die kompakte Baureihe ist aufgrund einer integrierten Lagerung für einen direkten Anbau, beispielsweise von Kettenrädern, Zahnriemenscheiben oder Gelenkwellen, prädestiniert. Mit dem federvorgespannten Kugelrastprinzip und der freischaltenden Funktionsweise garantieren die Kupplungen eine exakte Drehmomentbegrenzung und Schaltzeiten im Millisekundenbereich. Hierdurch werden Applikationsschäden sowie Stillstandszeiten bei Crash verringert und die Verfügbarkeit bzw. Produktionsleistung der Anlage wird erhöht. Die Wiedereinrastung der Kupplung erfolgt einfach durch axialen Druck auf den
