Für Dieselmotoren bis 13 Liter Hubraum und einem Startleistungsbedarf von 2,4 bis 6,5 Kilowatt hat Bosch die Heavy-Duty-Starter der HX(F)95-Baureihe entwickelt. Sie eignen sich für alle On- und Off-Highway-Anwendungen. Die Starter sind für 12- und 24-Volt-Bordnetze in frei ausstoßender Bauweise lieferbar. Bosch erweitert das Programm damit besonders im 12-Volt-Segment. Eine vierpolige Schleifenwicklung ersetzt die bisherige sechspolige Wellenwicklung und ermöglicht Leistungssteigerungen bis zu 20 Prozent. Auch die Konstruktion von Anker und Polgehäuse wurde geändert. Das Ergebnis: mehr Startsicherheit, insbesondere für hubraumstarke Motoren sowie bei Fahrzeugen mit zusätzlichen hydraulischen Verbrauchern im Antriebsstrang.
