PENNY intensiviert nach der Einführung eines elektronischen Jugendschutzprogramms an den Kassen seine Bemühungen im Kampf gegen den Alkoholmissbrauch von Jugendlichen. Der Lebensmitteldiscounter der REWE Group steigt in die "Schulungsinitiative Jugendschutz - SchuJu" (www.schu-ju.de) ein. Kernelement ist ein speziell für Kassenmitarbeiter im Lebensmittelhandel entwickeltes Online-Schulungsprogramm. In einzelnen Trainingseinheiten können sich diese Mitarbeiter direkt am Arbeitsplatz schnell und umfassend über die Jugendschutzbestimmungen informieren und bekommen Verhaltensregeln zum Umgang mit Jugendlichen, die Alkohol kaufen wollen.
