Die Retest GmbH, ein junges Software-Unternehmen aus Karlsruhe, startet eine Kickstarter-Kampagne zur Finanzierung eines neuen Softwaretools rediff, das als Open Source Freeware für eine breite Anwendergruppe bereitgestellt werden soll. rediff ist ein Werkzeug, das digitale Dokumente jeder Art automatisch vergleicht und einen Bericht über alle Änderungen erstellt. Alle, die beruflich oder privat Dokumente vergleichen oder deren Gleichheit bei der Archivierung sicherstellen müssen, erhalten damit eine große Arbeitserleichterung. Das Finanzierungsziel der Kickstarter-Kampagne für rediff beträgt 15.000,- €, um ein erstes Set an Dokumentarten, wie beispielsweise HTML, XML und PDF vergleichen zu können. Wird das Ziel übertroffen, kommen weitere Dokumentarten hinzu.
