Formabweichung und mangelhafte Oberflächen sind in der Fertigung dünnwandiger Teile nichts Ungewöhnliches. Bei Turbinenschaufel-Blättern ergibt sich das Problem meist aus der Wärmeentwicklung beim Zerspanen und der genutzten Spanntechnik. Die über Werkzeug und Werkstück in die Maschinenkomponenten eingetragene Wärme bewirkt, dass das Schaufelblatt sich ausdehnt: Das dünnwandige Teil bäumt sich dann zwischen den Spannstellen auf. Dieser Wärmegang lässt sich nur bedingt über die Steuerung kompensieren.

Dem wird jetzt abgeholfen. Hamuel zeigt auf der EMO unter Span das Hochgeschwindigkeits-Dreh- und Fräszentrum "HSTM 150 HD". Die Maschine hat ein aus Mineralguss hergestelltes Maschinenbett, das Vibration in den qualitätsrelevanten Komponenten unterbindet. Thermisch bedingte
