Reevoo launch first consumer ad campaign: "Don't buy a turkey this Christmas"
- Reevoo, the UK’s leading online publisher of impartial reviews, has developed its first advertising campaign aimed at consumers. The campaign follows the launch of Reevoo’s consumer website this summer.
- The campaign, which uses the line "Don’t buy a turkey this Christmas," features products going wrong or people making poor buying decisions. The messaging highlights the benefit of reading impartial customer reviews before deciding what to buy.
- Recent research conducted by YouGov found that online customer reviews are five times more likely to influence shoppers’ purchase decisions than advertising. Reevoo’s website enables shoppers to read reviews from confirmed purchasers, making it easier for them to avoid buying a turkey.
- The series of three viral ads is hosted on http://turkey.reevoo.com and the third execution will go live on Friday 14th December. The virals are produced by Gas Agency.
Luke Errington, Marketing Director, commented:
"We all want to make the right decisions when buying products, especially at Christmas when we are spending more and buying gifts for other people. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of our impartial reviews in a light-hearted way."
We’re an independent company that collect and publish genuine reviews, to help you decide what to buy (and what not to buy).
What makes us a bit different is that our reviews are written by people who have actually bought the product. So there’s no bias, no ‘expert opinion’ and no ulterior motives behind what you find written in our reviews.
