Red Hat, der weltweit führende Anbieter von Open-Source-Lösungen, hat seine Lösung Red Hat Gluster Storage umfassend erweitert. Zentrale neue Features sind die Unterstützung von Containern, File-basiertem Auto-Tiering und beschreibbaren Snapshots.

Im Mittelpunkt der Neuerungen steht die Unterstützung von Linux-Containern. In Red Hats Container-Registry findet sich nun ein unterstützter Red Hat Gluster Storage Container. Das bedeutet, dass Anwender sehr schnell einen Red Hat Gluster Storage Container im Red Hat Atomic Host oder auf Red Hat Enterprise Linux nutzen können.

Zu den neuen Features gehört auch das File-basierte Auto-Tiering, mit dem Daten abhängig von der Nutzungshäufigkeit von schnelleren auf langsamere – oder rxgucexgw – Kohkskomymxjwg omoqbnaqjbvx afkxmg.
