The life of a Quintiq global services professional
Knowledge sharing, best practices, certification and customer care offerings
The latest addition to the Quintiq team, Mr. Steen Andersen, joins Quintiq as the Global VP Professional Services with 10+ years experience in the software service provider industry.
Steen hails from Maconomy, an ERP provider, with operational responsibilities in numerous areas including marketing and sales, professional services and helpdesk support. During Steen's time leading Maconomy North America, they tripled revenues in 4 years.
"I bring a more balanced and holistic view of professional services and its role in a software provider organization compared to someone who works in a purely professional services organization. As the Global VP Professional Services, the most important thing is to ensure that we share knowledge and best practices across our business units and that we incorporate these in the Quintiq way of doing business. My goal is that we can assist the operational BUs by providing tools, systems, guidance and best practices that they would otherwise be hard pressed to develop themselves with their focus on customer satisfaction and growing our business."
Steen commented on what initially attracted him to the role and why Quintiq: "The first thing that drew me was the fact that I heard Victor (Quintiq CEO Dr. Victor Allis) speak at an event and had been impressed with his enthusiasm, charisma and dynamic personality. I didn't have the chance to meet him personally at that event, but I remember after the event I thought that he could be an interesting and exciting person to work with. This is an opportunity to work in a senior role where I can use my existing Global Consulting Team experience and my experiences working and living in both the US, UK and continental Europe, making the opportunity just that more intriguing."
