Die PVA TePla Danmark in Frederikssund, Dänemark, Hersteller von Floatzoneanlagen, hat von dem Unternehmen Tianjin HuanOu Semiconductor Material & Technology Co. Ltd., Tianjin, China, eine 100%ige Tochtergesellschaft der Tianjin Zhonghuan Semiconductor Co. Ltd., einen Auftrag über die Lieferung von zwei großen Floatzoneanlagen erhalten.

Die dänische Niederlassung der PVA TePla AG ist auf die Herstellung von Floatzone-Kristallzucht-Anlagen spezialisiert, mit denen im Besonderen hochreine, monokristalline Siliziumstäbe zum Beispiel für Hochfrequenz-Anwendungen in der Halbleiterindustrie und für sehr effiziente Photovoltaik-Wafer hergestellt werden. Tianjin HuanOu Semiconductor Material & Technology wird mit diesen Anlagen ebenfalls Floatzone-Silizium für die Halbleitertechnologie herstellen, vorwiegend für Hochleistungsbauteile.
