Die BMW Group hat den Omnii XT10 von Psion zertifiziert und die ersten Geräte sind bereits am Dingolfinger Standort des bayrischen Automobilherstellers im Einsatz. Durch die Zertifizierung wird das Gerät in BMWs globales Bestellsystem aufgenommen. Der Omnii XT10 ist ein modular konzipierter und extrem robuster Mobil-Computer für den Einsatz in der Logistik und im Supply Chain Management und basiert auf Psions Open Source Mobility (OSM) Entwicklungsstrategie. Durch OSM nutzen Partner, Kunden und Entwickler von Psion gemeinsame Tools und Komponenten, um so die Zusammenarbeit bei der Entwicklung neuer Geräte zu verbessern.
