PSINet Germany, einer der führenden Anbieter von Outsourcing- Lösungen für E-Business und IT-Sicherheit, hat eine Partnerschaft mit Mcert geschlossen. Die vom Bitkom sowie Bundesinnen- und Bundeswirtschaftsministerium gegründete Online-Plattform Mcert ist die erste Initiative für IT-Sicherheit für mittelständische Unternehmen in Deutschland.

PSINet unterstützt als Sponsoringpartner dieses bisher einmalige Projekt, indem es die technische und sicherheitstechnische IT- Infrastruktur für den Betrieb des Mcert-Online-Betriebes bereitstellt. Zudem ist PSINet mit seinem Know-how im Bereich von sicheren Infrastrukturlösungen beratend für Mcert tätig. Im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen und Workshops von Mcert gestaltet PSINet die Aufklärungsarbeit in Fragen der IT-Sicherheit aktiv mit.
