Codex of PLM Openness wird auf dem automotiveDay vorgestellt

Die Initiative Codex of PLM Openness (CPO) - die zurzeit in aller Munde ist - wird am 08.03.2012 im Rahmen des IT-Kongresses automotiveDay vorgestellt. Der Codex wurde unter Federführung des ProSTEP iViP Vereins von IT-Anbietern, IT-Integratoren und IT-Kunden entwickelt und drückt ein einheitliches Grundverständnis zum Thema Offenheit von IT-Systemen im Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) aus. Als Sprecher treten Elisabeth Hoeflich (CIO Continental AG) und Karl-Erich Probst (CIO BMW Group) auf.

Der CPO bietet die Grundlage für eine freiwillige Selbstverpflichtung für Unternehmen aus der Industrie und der IT, die hochintegrative Lösungen für durchgängige Datenprozesse im PLM einsetzen oder anbieten wollen.
