BMBF-FuE-Vorhaben "IWRM Südafrika Phase II" gestartet

Mit dem Schwerpunkt "Ausrichtung von IWRM-Maßnahmen an der Wertschöpfung zur Sicherung der Nachhaltigkeit" startet am 14.11.2012 in Pretoria der Kick-off-Workshop des BMBF-Vorhabens "IWRM für den Olifants-Fluss Südafrika, Phase II". Die Laufzeit des ca. 5 Mio. €-Vorhabens geht bis 2015. Erstmalig soll ein IWRM-Konzept gezielt so optimiert werden, dass eine Wertschöpfung sowohl für lokale als auch internationale Player und ein Anreiz für Engagement von Investoren, Technologielieferanten und Betreibern generiert wird ("Incentive Engineering").

Das vom BMBF geförderte Vorhaben wird vom IEEM - Institut für Umwelttechnik und Management an der Universität Witten/Herdecke geleitet.
