On the European internet platform tracx transport capacity trading totalled 4.32 GWh/h per day in February (February 2009: 319.71 GWh/h per day).

In the dayahead section of tracx, 73 dayahead auctions with a total of 4.32 GWh/h per day (February 2009: 34.21 GWh/h per day) ended successfully in February. At the crossborder point Bunde/Oude Statenzijl (entry) the average price for traded dayahead capacities amounted to € 6.50 per MWh/h per day. At Eynatten/Raeren (entry) it amounted to an average of € 5.30 per MWh/h per day. In February, dayahead capacities at the network points Drohne (entry) and Emsbüren (entry) were offered on tracx for the first time, as well.

In the longterm section of the platform a total of 79.18 GWh/h per day (placed capacity in February 2009: 411.17 GWh/h per day) was offered in February. None of the 52 longterm trades offered on the platform were closed. February's longterm capacities were placed on the platform with contract periods ranging from 14 days up to one month.

Since the platform's trading start in March 2005, the overall trading volume on tracx has reached a total of 58,043.42 GWh/h per day. This includes 230.4 GWh/h per day from dayahead trading.

Currently, 66 companies from all over Europe are authorised to trade capacity rights on In February, two new companies were admitted to trade on tracx.
