PREMO presents a new innovative planar for the automotive market

Barcelona, (PresseBox) - The new PREMO planar for automotive is a new innovative solution specially designed for hybrid cars market that fulfils AECQ-200 standard. In addition, incorporates a special vacuum impregnation system that allows a high electrical isolation between primary and secondary windings.

Among their characteristics highlight its power of 1700W and low profile (33mm). The product offers with a heatsink allowing to evacuate the heat easily and assures high thermal dissipation. Besides, Premo has incorporated mechanical screws fixations, improving vibration resistance according to standard regulation for automotive market. All the materials used (ferrite, isolation, resin, glue, adhesive ...) withstands temperatures up to 180 ºC. Low losses design (<1%) assures a high efficiency transformer solution.

Premo designs and manufacture planar transformers since 20 years and its wide products range includes small powers up to 10.000W, for sectors as industrial, telecommunications, medicine, welding ... Premo catalogue includes more than 50 types, among highlight: the NS series specially designed for high power telecommunication power systems; and impregnated transformers range that allows a high dielectric strength between primary and secondary circuits.
