Der gute Ruf von High-Tech-Produkten „Made in Germany“ ist in den Augen der Öffentlichkeit angekratzt. Die Diskussion um den Ausstieg aus dem Transrapid, über die Realisierungsprobleme der UMTS-Technologie und das hin und her um die LKW-Maut von Toll Collect verunsicherte viele Bürgerinnen und Bürger und warf Fragen auf.
