Neuer Rekordumsatz und Dividendenzahlung

Der Headset-Hersteller Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) beschließt das Geschäftsjahr 2006 (01. April 2005 bis 31. März 2006) mit einem neuen Rekordergebnis: Der Umsatz beträgt 750 Millionen US-Dollar und stieg damit im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 34 Prozent. Damals hatte der Umsatz 560 Millionen US-Dollar betragen. Von den 190 Millionen US-Dollar Umsatzsteigerung sind 121 Millionen auf den Zukauf von Altec Lansing zurückzuführen. Die Gewinne von Altec Lansing sind in den Geschäftsbereich Audio Entertainment Group (AEG) von Plantronics integriert. Die operative Marge betrug 14,7 Prozent (Vorjahr: 22,6 Prozent).
